The sisters are based on Moonflowers, their name represents the moon goodness. Since the story will include Scifi, we decided to have the sister have planet related names, and moonflowers were prefect as their nature genetics. The name of the animation " Half My Crescent " is symbolizing the arc of the moon, it looks like the moon smiling and it is to imply that the sisters are happy together as LUNA grow up, she realized she is part of the crescent with her only happiness (Selene).
